I have a love/totally abandonment relationship with my Samyang (Rokinon)14mm f2.8. When I use it I love it, it makes my think, allows experimentation and gives a totally different perspective. Then I put it away and might not use it for several months.
what a beautiful wide lens. Widelenses should be used more often in streetphotography Rokinon is underrated! thanks for sharing this with us really enjoyed watching this
Liked the video Brendan!; I have been using my Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 on my Nikon for almost 5 months so far, and I think that after all a ultra wide angle lens is a big deal, even if street photography is concerned. Honestly don't know why it is a general idea to bond this kind of lens to a strict landscape usage.
In my opinion, such a lens gives you the chance to get the most out of you photography, allowing you to be more creative.
Seeing people from other countries making videos in my country feels really weird and im kinda honoured. Especially when it's a photographer that i really like and not only he's coming to my country but he is going to the island i go to every single year since i was born.Naxos is like my second home and the place that my grandma started a business like 50 years ago. This business went way too good and after 50 years you can see a waffle house full of customers (on your way out of your hotel, on your right, 20 meters away). That's now my uncle's ice cream chain and i would really want to see you going to the almost bald guy at the register and tell him that the nephew of his boss is a fan and is gonna watch that video. You might wanna tell him my name. Would make my day if you could do that it would mean so much to me. Still a huge fan and i really like your work. As far as the back pains, get well soon man.
Thanks BVS for bring us your great energetic vlogs. Really eager to watch your next one. Keep up the good work. I have been following Jodi as well and she is improving leaps and bounds.
Mate, you don't want a Jimny – I don't reckon you'll be able to stretch out in that…Go for a Suzuki Grand Vitara, that's my daily drive and I love it – a little bit bigger and not too much of a 'hairdressers' car. You can even fit a roof rack tent to it.
I SOOOO wish we could register quad bikes for riding around on the roads here in OZ, hope the back gets better BvS, it's all that heavy Canon gear you carry around 😉
You always come across honest in ur vids, never really comment on them but enjoy them.. keep up the good work !! Kefalonia is beautiful if you get the chance to visit, not that far away from your current location!
Great vlog Brendan. Naxos is so impressive , it's beautiful. I guess in all honesty I'd say that street photography would probably be my least favourite ( just prefer other styles more- landscape & seascape girl ) BUT what I love even more is that through your vlogs, I'm seeing it as something to love & enjoy much more. Really inspired by your images.
I Love the street photography in your last few videos.. I've never done street photography before, I've just ordered a 35mm prime lens and I'm off to Mexico in a couple of weeks time.. After watching your videos I'm really excited to give it ago..

Hey Brendan. What’s the camera shoulder strap that you use?? Love the channel
Great video. I notice some photos are a bit too bright probably due to the white walls. Good job guys.
Brilliant in every way. Your vlogging, your photography, your video production. Just excellent.
Love the tips I got from this episode! Looks beautiful there 🙂
Jodie stealing your "Peace" outro made my day.
I'd totally do the same.
So enjoying your recent videos. Take care of your back. Hope you recover soon!
Your videos are trully inspiring!
Hope you get better.

Funny how we do things differently, I tend to bracket for situations like that.
Funny you should mention back problems and photography. A back problem that put me off work was what got me into photography two years ago!
that ending was awkward 🙂
Just subscribed to your channel.

Hey Brendan what is the Tune you used as a backing track.
Looks amazing! I have this feeling that Jodie will say "peace" at the end of one of her upcoming videos now that you have stated that at the end, lol!
WYSIWYG….mirrorless 🙂

Lel, Jodie should steal all your ending phrase most often.

Another enjoyable video. We love Greece but what is the background music ?
