At 2:06 he says the moon won't change the exposure (when taking a reading off of the sky). How come? It's a white spot in the middle of a somewhat dark area?!
Great photo Bryan. But I'm slightly confused. Was the exposure 1/4 or 1/16? I thought you took a reading and set it at 1/16 before the moon rose but then it seems like you adjusted it to 1/4 after the moon came up.
thank you, Bryan. After Neil Armstrong as the fist man on the moon, you´re taking a great shot including his footsteps. This calls for some excellent French wine and a baguette avec frommage "cheeeese". XD Max

Excellent tips as always! People forget Moonrises.
You are the best Bryan !
does taking a reading of the lower light either side of the moon not over expose the moon in the main shot ?

A question, Bryan – you're shooting at -1EV, at ISO200.
Why not use ISO100 at 0EV?

Great video. Also it looks like shooting at dusk is essential.
So metered @ -1 EV or dial in a -1 via exposure comp? Tomatoes, tomahtoes, right?
The picture was great
Solid tips as always Bryan. Thumbs UP!
good as usual bryan
Great ! Thank you
is that checking aperture priority first then going back and putting in all the settings manually?
