thank you, Bryan. How about shooting a location at 4 different weathers – sunny, stormy (10 sec. exposure), cloudy, lightning (watch yourself)? Keep shooting. :-)
Nice Brian – will work on as I have 4 seasons – by the way – nice haircut – suits you very well – better than the long hair 🙂 look forward to all your videos
If you guys noticed, Bryan is shooting on a nice overcast day. Nice for us photographers – it takes care of all the shadow discussions you guys have going on – not so nice for everyone else 🙂
Presumed the sun is out of course, shadows are longest just after sunrise and before sunset, and shortest at noon – a no-brainer really. Otherwise, I don't understand what you mean by "same shadow" and "same tame of the day".
You don't need to print the other pictures to frame your next photos. Just have them on the same memory card and frame the photo in liveview while switching back to the older photos in the camera.
It would be most helpful to be using a camera that can "overlay a ghost" of a previously taken picture in live view. Then you can line up your shot pretty much perfectly. You can also try to make sure there are natural "control points" in the corners of your shot, such as a certain tree, or a shed or something. And finally, use photoshop to align the four pictures as layers for pixel precision.

Thanks for a great idea Bryan!
There's an app for that! Look for the Photographer's Ephemeris, which provides the location/position of the sun any time, anywhere.

So you think that in the different time of the day they will be smaller? Think one more time about it 🙂
Coming back with a print is a great idea!
this is summer?
I thought about this 4 seasons time ago,now i have to do it after i watched this.thanks bryan
I'm pretty sure 6pm on summer solstice does not give you the same shadow as 6pm on winter solstice.
I just love this idea 😀
ah, the hair is growing again.
No, at the same time of the day the shadow lenghts will differ because the sun will be lower in winter and way higher during the summer.

It doesn't take you a whole year to do this, you need only 9 months. Unless you want to shoot your first season twice.
Lately it's more like 2 seasons, winter till May and summer next week after winter ends
I live in California. XD This video is nothing to me.
Also, no need to make a print. This is what your smart phone is for.
it mostly impossible
all that YOU can control IS VERY EASY unlike wheather and lighting
and also the same position of tripod, the same position of head and same lens…It's not so easy!
Best to do it when there is no shadows.
YOU SHOULD COME TO SOUTH AFRICA SOMETIME?
Bryan Peterson is the best.
One more moment. You should be there exactly at the same tame of the day, for same shadows at different images.
