This is by far the best video that I've ever seen on posing. It was brilliant. One thing that I've learned from piano is to get a person to tense their body to the maximum, and then when they relax, they will really automatically relax after over tensing.
Im about to do my first photo shoot on Saturday and very nervous because its my very first one and I don't have a very professional camera, its a Nikon Coolplix L840.
Excellent video! I've searched YouTube everywhere to find a video like this and couldn't find one till yours! I really enjoyed this video and learned a lot. Will be coming back to this video again and again to refresh my skills. Thanks for the help!
wow. you are a true blessing. you just made my life easier. now I can see a huge, and I mean HUGE improvement in my photos because of these tips. Words is not enough to thank you. You should know that you are helping make more good photographers in the world through this little thing you do. thank you so much.
Terrible video. If you are trying to instruct, edit out the dialogue and show the final image. The single position shot throughout is really not helpful. The Audio is terrible, not sure what we're listening to, but it sounds like Public Radio.
Simply superb, clear and comprehensive advice with excellent clear communication, knowledge and ideas to inform any photographer interested in shooting people in the studio.
My tip to striking a pose is to look like you are about to break wind. Photographers ask what I am thinking of when I look at the camera, I tell them I am clenching my sphincter like I am holding on to a massive fart. I often get complimented on this, and has never failed, except for the time I dropped my guts in a shoot. But it was Ok, no follow through involved, and we were outside, and a gust of wind took the cloud of methane away.
Thanks for this simple and easy woman posing guide, i've learn some good advise from this video. If you could make the same for male posing it will be nice. Regards
