To my eyes part of your distinctive style is how you choose to process your b&w work. Are you doing anything special or just the normal LR/PS stuff? Some of the skin tones especially look "different". But I really like your work.
Really enjoyed your work and particularly your prospective on street photography. Over the years I have built up a portfolio of body part shots and have been compiling them but unlike you I enhance them in Photoshop. Thank you for your presentation
HI Michael An interesting presentation and some fascinating images. However, at about 47 minutes you suggest that your loss of digital images is partly due the '… nature of the digital era'. Hmm. I shoot film and digital, and like you have all of my negs in files in a cupboard. But I also have every digital file I have taken–at least, those that are worth keeping. I use Lightroom, which you admitted earlier you don't use, and this could be worthwhile investigating because it is the 'digital asset management' side of LR that makes it so useful.
If I was in New York on the day for this talk – I would have been there. But I wasn´t. So thanks to Michael and B & H for making it possible to sit in my own sofa more than 6000 kilometers away and listen to this very interesting talk.
This is a guy with camera (GWC), with style and vision that amounts to out of focus, poorly exposed and inconsistently processed shots. In other words, not.
Brilliant presentation! Clear and efficient. Love your work. Just finished reading the "Street Photography Bible", again, straight to the point, full of authenticity. Will try to find your other books. Look forward to another lecture of yours. Amelia
Love your work. Just ordered, The Human Fragment, title is a perfect reference to street photography. As long as we have Bruce Gilden we will have crazys. And…, your feeling towards the golden hour, Love it.

Epic fail. Very poor composition, poor exposure, all subjects have their backs and sides … shows scared photographer. Just calling it like it is.
Was expecting much better. Don't think you should be teaching. Please stop pretending. Ur fooling no one … well, no one with taste.
Why r u using Leica? It's a like a teenager driving a F1 car … totally inappropriate and a waste.
Developing style?
Mike needs to learn about rule of thirds and rule of 3s. He uses amateurish center focus/composition and all look very uninteresting.
18:15 Mark Cohen style
Congrats

very cool style.
Well, he really seem to like his own work… In the end I guess that's the most important thing… Dear God…
Did the subjects in the photos sign a release?

Sneaky Street Photography.. Start turning the subjects around and up, instead of behind and down view and perspective.
Hey Alex! Good job on the diction lessons!
(Where is the Fedora?)
