My photos look perfectly exposed on my LCD in manual mode, but after I take the photo they look unreasonably underexposed, if not black. Never had this problem before. Does anyone know the issue
Thanks for the nice video. I have 3 questions 1- How to take a shot with high shutter speed in a low light room without flash (because flash make the moving object black) ? 2- In my mobile phone, I have a feature called: MF and another AE-L What are those 2 features ? 3- Why when I try to set the shutter speed or ISO or both of them on my phone, I can no more configure the MF (which increase light) and I find AE-L already selected ? Thanks
First thing first….U r amazing..U cleared alot of my queries..seriously..i learned a lot..looking forward to buy your books..and yeah subscribe already..
Great video Tony – I'll be buying the book just as a thanks for producing these free resources. I have a massive compromise to make – shooting ice hockey games. I need to freeze my subjects (fast shutter), with a blurred background (narrow aperture?), with low noise (low ISO) and have enough light to get the white balance right. Any tips? I have a feeling this may be a tricky one, especially as we can't use flash.
gosh!!! it's damm good. I'm fond of photography and I have a canon 700D with 18-55 mm kit lens but thing is that pictures get blurry and noisy and also lack of depthness; so I was looking for a good tutorial lesion and now I have it & I think it'll help me a lot….! Ohh!!! finally I got something concrete for my photos….!!!
Hi Tony Northrup,I just enjoyed your YouTube video on Light, Aperture, ISO, and Shutter speed. I was wondering if you have any videos for sports photographers who use wireless flash with a Softbox in a not well lit basketball gym? I am shooting with the Canon 70D, Canon Speedlite 430 (original flash), and a Softbox, with wireless PocketWizard 2 pack. The Softbox is under the basketball hoop. I guess the ideal setup would be to have a Softbox on each side of the basketball hoop at 45 degree angles, right?!! I use an ISO of 3200, Flash on manual exposure of 1/32, Shutter priority of 1/250. Are these setting ok?
thank you +tony for such wonderful videos. They have helped me a lot in understanding photography basics. Have learnt a lot from you. Thank you zillions
